In the film, The Kingdom, 5 FBI agents were sent to the Middle East after a terrorist attack on an American compound, in attempt to find out who was responsible for the bombing. During their stay, The FBI agents are faced with difficulties and forced to witness the acts of suicide bombers. In her novel, McAllister demonstrates how the Middle East have been represented by American culture throughout our society. She depicts Americans continuous negative attitudes and opinions of the Middle East and how they are portrayed in popular culture. Based on Epic Encounters, how has tevelision, recent films such as The Kingdom, novels, etc. helped shape American's view of the Middle East?
