Disney "world"?

The idea of Disneyland as a white utopia made me think of Disneyworld, and how "white" it was, with a name that implies globalization and other cultures. Turns out, that Disneyworld is exactly the same as Disneyland. Epcot, the amusement park right next to Disneyworld, and part of Disney, is the place that contains the "world" centers. The list of different countries you can visit is large, but predominently white. Most of the countries are European, there are two Asian countries (China and Japan) and Canada and Mexico. There were NO African or South American countries represented at all, which is surprising considering the amount of black and Hispanic/Latin people we have in America. In the world section, there is even an extra American section set in colonial times. I guess they figured that covered African-American people well enough.
For a place that proclaims itself to be the world, Disneyworld is just as whitewashed as Disneyland. The implication of doing to the globe what Disneyland did to Los Angeles is astounding and ambitious. Creating a utopic land with no colored people to counter the globalization and mixing of ethnicities is nothing short of amazing. Why would they be so not global?
