Blackface in Mio

In the Mio (water flavoring) commercial "Changes" there are two white males conversing in the work place and as they add more Mio to their drinks they change outfits; at the end of the scene one individual transforms into a black male in farmers clothing and the other white male turns into a small old asian women. I thought that this commercial related to what we have been discussing in class about black minstrels because the humor here steams from the change in appearance by the actor, much like if an actor puts on black-face in a minstrel show; while there are clearly new actors replaced in the end scenes of the commercial, instead of putting on black-face, we still attach what the previous character/actor was thought to be and therefor, I believe, we some how picture them as that new character. What is the line between black-face minstrels and the changing of characters that we see here, that is there an actual connection to black-face here?
