We're coming up on three years since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and the Gulf Coast region. A new documentary film, Trouble the Water, looks at the impact of the storm and the government's lack of response on the community of the Lower Ninth Ward. I haven't had a chance to see the film yet, but the NYTimes and Root reviews are very positive.
